Leadership training
Our S.T.E.A.M. Soaps for a Cause Training program inspires young changemakers to combine creativity with compassion. We provide leadership training and instruction on how kids, with supervision, can craft and sell starfish soaps to raise funds for a cause they care about.
Through hands on workshops, children explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math as they create starfish-shaped mini travel soaps, learning about soap chemistry, measurements, and mold design. They also gain entrepreneurship skills by learning about budgets and how to sell their soaps to raise funds .
Through our train-the-trainer approach, we collaborate with groups of young leaders--from informal groups of friends to school clubs and community organizations. We equip young leaders with the tools to make a tangible impact while learning essential leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Contact us to learn more.
To support our mission, year round we craft and sell starfish-shaped travel-sized hand and body soaps. We use therapeutic ingredients such as: shea butter and oatmeal soap bases; essential oils like frankincense, myrrh, chamomile, and lavender; and plant-based colorants such as butterfly pea flower, indigo, and alkanet root powder.
